Episode 06: The Crush of Reality

Writer Elizabeth Jarrett takes sound artists Nicolette Emanuelle and Gokul Parasuram (halucinojerks) on a personal and emotional journey exploring unrequited love and the power of speaking your truth.

Elizabeth Jarrett is a multi-disciplinary spatial and experience designer specializing in immersive and interactive media. Over the past decade, she has produced and curated visual art, music, and community events through the recently retired arts organization Deer Bear Wolf and recently founded Strange Shapes, a creative studio for imaginative storytelling. Her scenic and Installation designs have appeared at Tribeca Film Festival, New York Theatre of Actors, and recently the THEA award winning production, The Nest, in Los Angeles, CA.

Nicolette Emanuelle is a professional performance artist known for her fierce stage presence and her ability to mix multiple mediums in her performances. Her talents include musical composition, and musical performance on multiple instruments (e.g. cello, piano, vocals, and accordion) aerial arts, stilt walking, burlesque and acting. She is also the founder and co artistic director of The Hereafter Artist Collective, teaches aerial arts at Challenge Aerial and coaches a teen aerial performance company called Earth to Sky Performance Co.
